The Medoc platform is a quality registration and reporting platform for supporting all aspects of Value-Based Healthcare. Data are collected on the basis of patient pathways. SDS Medical is constantly working on expanding the number of patient pathways on the basis of international and national standards.

It is very important to ensure that the response rate is as high as possible. The Medoc platform contributes to ensuring that the response rate is as high as possible in the following way.

  • Data collection in the hospital and at home, either digitally or on paper
  • Patients receive a reminder per email if the questionnaire has not been completed after a week
The hospital staff member (such as a Physician Assistant) receives a list of patients to contact about the missing questionnaire.

With the signaling function, it is possible to make a selection on the basis of certain outcomes. Examples are patients with a score under a particular value or patients who are not satisfied. The signaling function is fully configurable by the customer himself/herself. The customer can therefore define each type of signaling. Certain signaling outcomes can also be sent to a specific user.

The HIS integration module supports the automatic import of patient and treatment information stored in the HIS/EPR. The link to the HIS is established in the hospital environment, so that privacy-sensitive patient information can remain safeguarded.

The HIS integration module is capable of establishing a link on the basis of HL7, but batch files can also be periodically imported.

SDS Medical supports the export to international and national registers. SDS Medical ensures that the data are delivered to the relevant register in the right format at the desired moments.

If privacy-sensitive patient information needs to be exported to a register, the export will be conducted from the hospital environment.

The Medoc Platform is multilingual. The platform currently supports the following languages.

  • English
  • Dutch
  • German
  • French
  • Italian
  • Flemish
  • Walloon
  • Swedish

SDS Medical is constantly working on expanding the language support options. Validated translations are exclusively used for patient questionnaires. If no validated translation exists for a particular questionnaire, the questionnaire will not be supported in that language. Patients can answer the questions in their own language. The care provider can then view this questionnaire in their own language.
