The defined care paths are based on the ICHOM international standard. The number of care paths within Congenital Diseases is constantly being expanded.

Available care paths:

• AO Trauma Classification
• Dutch Hip Fracture Audit
• NHS (NICE) Hip Fracture Guideline

Medoc Trauma is a web-based platform for optimally implementing the Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) for traumatology. The international AO classification forms the basis for Medoc Trauma. In cases where national standards apply, data sets will be added to the platform.

Clinical Information

Clinical information - such as the nutritional state based on SNAQ and the mental state of the patient based on the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) - is recorded for each care path. Operation data are also recorded per care path.

The PROMs questionnaires are based on the standard from ICHOM and  DICA. Medoc contains an extensive library of validated questionnaires, from which a specific care path can be chosen.

PREMs (Patient Reported Experience Measures) are questions about patient experiences with regard to his/her degree of satisfaction with treatment, participation, aftercare and information. Patients answer these questions anonymously. Care institutions periodically receive reports on patient experiences.

Link to HIS

The link to the hospital information system can be established to obtain patient information and related operation information. Linking the hospital information system offers the advantage of not having to enter data twice. This also better guarantees the reliability of the accuracy of the data.

The VBHC platform was designed in such a way that, if desired, benchmarking can take place between the care institutions that desire it. It is also possible to report on the basis of multiple care institutions, so that there is a larger patient population.

Export to national hip fracture registry

SDS Medical is able to digitally export the data to the National Hip Fracture Registry.
